This is the dataset from the main Open Government Data portal of Switzerland, that was used to make the visualization above:

  • What open data is available that can help refugees?
  • Which gaps and information shortages exist today?
  • How do we collect better data to address critical issues?

In the Swiss media, this data is also being visualized, analyzed and discussed: Asyl-Dashboard - SRF

Look for also more local data sources, such as city administrations publishing statistics on employment or social services.

A new website from the State Secretariat for Migration SEM portrays the statistics in an accessible, interactive, approachable way: migration.swiss

In this short video, you can learn about the work of the UNHCR archivists, whose data you can find at https://data.unhcr.org/

All attendees, sponsors, partners, volunteers and staff at our hackathon are required to agree with the Hack Code of Conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to ensure a safe environment for everybody.
